Another Great Auction
A Wade limited edition glazed porcelain figurine titled Welcome Home, modelled by Ken Holmes. The piece depicts a young boy with blond hair and rosy cheeks wearing a yellow patterned sweater and brown trousers, kneeling to embrace a liver-and-white spaniel. The figurine is finished with a high-gloss glaze. The underside bears a black printed backstamp identifying the piece as part of a Wade limited edition series, noting it as the first in a series of Wade collectables. It is hand-numbered 0718 of a limited edition of 2500. A small hand-painted black mark is also present on the base.
