A Royal Doulton ceramic Snowy Owl whisky decanter produced for Whyte & Mackay, Glasgow. The figurine is realistically modelled and glazed, depicting a snowy owl with grey-flecked white plumage and yellow eyes, perched upon a mottled dark green and grey rock-form base. The underside is printed with the following information: Snowy Owl, Whyte & Mackay Scotch Whisky, Glasgow, Scotland, Modelled by John G. Tongue, 1984. The item retains a partially torn gold foil seal indicating a 200ml capacity and 40% vol. The underside also bears a handwritten ink reference number.
