A Goebel porcelain figurine depicting a yellowhammer (Goldammer) perched upon a textured, leafy base. The bird is realistically modelled and hand-painted with a vibrant yellow head and breast featuring brown mottling, transitioning into deeper brown and tan tones on the wings and long tail. The underside of the base includes an incised model number and a stamped blue Goebel trademark with the stylized bumblebee and W. Germany mark. An original paper label is adhered to the base, identifying the species as Goldammer, Yellow Hammer, and Bruant doré.
