A mid-20th-century tinplate lithograph wind-up toy, identified as the Wonder Mouse. The toy features a grey and black lithographed body with fur detailing, pink inner ears, and a black cord tail. It is equipped with an integrated metal wind-up key to the side. The set includes its original illustrated cardboard box, which features a yellow, green, and red colour scheme with the text A WIND-UP TOY WONDER MOUSE and diagrams illustrating the mechanical action. The box bears a small maker’s mark, attributed to Yone, Japan.
