Another Great Auction
A pair of Beswick glazed ceramic bird figurines, comprising a Nuthatch and a Blue Tit. The Nuthatch, model number 2413, is realistically modelled in a downward-facing pose on a textured integral base. The Blue Tit, model number 992, is depicted perched upon a foliate branch featuring a small ladybird detail. Both pieces are hand-painted in naturalistic colours with a high-gloss finish. The undersides of both bases are stamped with the black factory mark BESWICK MADE IN ENGLAND, the respective model numbers, and the species names.
