Another Great Auction
A pair of porcelain salt and pepper shakers produced by the Lomonosov Porcelain Factory (LFZ). The set consists of two stylised bird figurines, representing a rooster and a hen. Each item is decorated with a white glaze and hand-painted with cobalt blue, orange, and gilded accents in a style reminiscent of Gzhel pottery. The pieces are designed with dispense holes on the body and a circular filling aperture on the base. Both figurines are marked on the underside with the red LFZ factory monogram and the text MADE IN USSR, indicating production in the late 20th century.
